Danae Powers Oboe Studio

At Danae Powers Oboe Studio, I offer lessons to students of all ages and experience levels. My main goal is to help you or your child grow as an oboist and into a well rounded musician. With weekly lessons for 30, 45 or 60 minutes, a variety of topics are covered, including reedmaking and adjusting reeds, band music, music theory, district band auditions, etudes, solos and more. With experience teaching beginner through advanced students from ages 9 - 72, my teaching style adapts to the various needs of each individual student.​

Students have the opportunity to purchase handmade reeds from me and will have the opportunity to attend group studio classes where all students can meet other oboe players their age!​
